Located in Cedar Crossing Environs, Georgia, the Cato Irrigation ( Hwy 107 ) Lower, also known as Lower Cato Lake Dam, is a privately owned earth dam designed by the Natural Resources Conservation Service in 1968 for irrigation purposes.

Standing at 17 feet high and spanning 370 feet in length, this dam has a storage capacity of 119 acre-feet and covers a surface area of 16 acres. The dam is situated on an unknown river or stream and serves a drainage area of 425 acres.
Despite its low hazard potential and moderate risk assessment, the Cato Irrigation ( Hwy 107 ) Lower dam has not been rated for its condition. Inspected every five years, the last inspection took place in May 2017. The dam features an uncontrolled spillway and outlet gates, with no regulated state permitting or enforcement in place. While it remains a vital structure for irrigation in the area, the dam's risk management measures and emergency preparedness plans are currently not available.
