Fatchett Wetland Dam, located in Clinton, Iowa, serves as a vital habitat for fish and wildlife in the area. Despite its low hazard potential, the dam is regulated by the Iowa DNR and undergoes regular inspections and enforcement to ensure its structural integrity. With a moderate risk assessment score of 3, the dam is equipped with an uncontrolled spillway and a spillway width of 3 feet. The surrounding area is at a low risk of inundation, and although the dam's condition is currently not rated, it meets guidelines for emergency action plans.
