Coleharbor Stk Farm Dam 2, also known as Nd No Name 288, is a privately owned structure designed by USDA NRCS in North Dakota's McLean County. Completed in 1970, this earth dam is primarily used for Fish and Wildlife Pond purposes, with a height of 9.8 feet and a length of 130 feet. The dam has a normal storage capacity of 22.9 acre-feet and a maximum storage capacity of 68.9 acre-feet, covering a surface area of 7.8 acres and draining a 3.44 square mile area.
Located along the Missouri-TR river, the Coleharbor Stk Farm Dam 2 has a low hazard potential and a moderate risk assessment rating. The dam features an uncontrolled spillway with a width of 100 feet, and no outlet gates or associated structures. While it has not been inspected since October 1998 and is currently in a "Not Rated" condition assessment status, the dam is regulated, permitted, inspected, and enforced by the North Dakota State Water Commission. Despite its age, the dam continues to serve its purpose effectively for the local fish and wildlife habitat.
