Tatlock, located in Tipton, Tennessee, is a privately owned earth dam on Tribmathis Creek with a hydraulic height of 15 feet and a structural height of 17.7 feet. Completed in 1948, Tatlock serves various purposes and has a normal storage capacity of 102 acre-feet, with a maximum storage of 149 acre-feet. The dam spans 495 feet in length and covers a surface area of 17 acres, with a drainage area of 0.11 square miles.

With a low hazard potential and a moderate risk assessment rating, Tatlock has not been formally rated for its condition. Although it has not undergone recent inspections, its last inspection in November 2017 deemed it to meet safety standards. The dam features an uncontrolled spillway and does not have outlet gates, lock structures, or associated locks. While it is not regulated by the state nor does it have a state permit or inspection, Tatlock remains a noteworthy site for water resource and climate enthusiasts in the Memphis District.
