Completed in 1884, this earth dam stands at a structural height of 22 feet and has a hydraulic height of 19 feet, with a length of 620 feet. The dam has a storage capacity of 1,950 acre-feet, with a normal storage level of 1,444 acre-feet, serving an area with a drainage area of 10 square miles and a maximum discharge of 51 cubic feet per second.
Despite being state-regulated by the Utah Division of Water Rights, Three Creeks poses a high hazard potential and is classified as being in fair condition.
