Douglas Park Cross Country Ski Trails in Saskatchewan offer over 50km of groomed trails, with the Blue and Green Loops being the most popular among skiers. The trails offer a variety of terrain, from flat stretches to challenging hills. An interesting fact is that the park was named after Tommy Douglas, the former premier of Saskatchewan and father of Canada's universal healthcare system. For beginners, the Green Loop is the best option, as it is relatively flat and easy to navigate. After a day on the trails, head to the Moose Jaw Brewing Company for a locally brewed beer and some delicious pub fare.
