Labrador Mountain ski resort in New York features 22 trails, 3 chair lifts, and 1 magic carpet. The best trails are considered to be The Flume, a black diamond run, and The Runaway, a blue square run. An interesting fact about the mountain is that it was originally opened in 1959 as Dwyer Hill Ski Resort and was renamed Labrador Mountain in the 1970s. For beginner skiers, the Snowfield run is recommended as it offers a gentle, wide slope. The best apres ski bar is the Last Run, where locals and visitors alike gather for drinks and food after hitting the slopes.
