Baker Ski Area holds the world record for the most snowfall in a single season, with 1,140 inches in the winter of 1998-1999. For beginners, the best trail is the Green Acres, which is a gentle, easy run. The White Salmon Lodge is the best apres ski bar, offering delicious food and drinks along with live music.
