Ski Cloudcroft ski resort, located in the mountains of southern New Mexico, offers a unique skiing experience with its high elevation and rare snowfall. The resort features a variety of intermediate and advanced trails, including the challenging Black Jack run. Beginner skiers can enjoy the easier trails near the base area. A lesser-known fact about Ski Cloudcroft is that it was the first ski area in New Mexico to have a chairlift, installed in 1940. For après ski, visitors can head to Mad Jack's Mountaintop Bar & Grill for food, drinks, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
