Summary

Overnight temperatures held just below freezing at 32.9°F, preserving a modest 2" snowpack—currently about 1.5" below average for this time of year. However, skiers and snowboarders can look forward to a fresh infusion of powder, with over 7" of new snow expected in the next 72 hours and an additional 7" through the 5-day forecast. While base depths remain light, the incoming storms could rejuvenate early season conditions and open up more terrain by the weekend.

On the slopes, early morning groomers offer the best runs, with firm but manageable conditions thanks to the recent cool temps and low snow water equivalent of 1". Tree runs and off-piste areas remain thin and are recommended only for experienced riders. No major local news updates are currently reported, but all resort services are operating normally. With new snow inbound, now is the time to plan a midweek escape and get first tracks on the fresh. Stay tuned to mountain updates, as lift status and terrain access may improve rapidly with the incoming storm.
