Sovereign Lake is a popular cross-country ski resort in British Columbia with over 105 kilometers of trails. The best trails include Black Prince, Passmore, and Upper World Cup. Interestingly, Sovereign Lake was originally called "Silver Star Ski Trails" before changing its name to avoid confusion with the nearby downhill ski resort. For beginners, we suggest starting with the Greenway Trail which is an easy and scenic loop.
