NEW-MEXICO SKI REPORT

Last Updated: November 14, 2025

Northern New Mexico is seeing increasing snow activity, with the heaviest snowfall forecasted near Hopewell and San Antonio Sink, where up to 8 inches are expected over the next five days. These sensors are closest to the Chama and northern Tusas Mountains region, impacting areas near Cumbres Pass and parts of the Carson National Forest. While no snow has fallen in the past 24 hours across all monitored locations, upcoming systems are expected to bring fresh accumulation soon.

Taos Ski Valley, one of the state's premier resorts near the Taos Powderhorn sensor, is forecasted to receive 4 inches in the coming days. Though not the highest total, it's notable considering the current 1-inch snowpack. Ski Santa Fe and Angel Fire Resort remain relatively dry, with surrounding sensors like Gallegos Peak and Tres Ritos showing only 1–2 inches in the 5-day forecast. Overall, the best skiing conditions by mid-week are likely to be near Hopewell and San Antonio Sink, with Taos Ski Valley a close contender for updated snow coverage. Keep an eye on northern high elevation zones for the most promising powder potential.
