Interestingly, the ski resort was originally founded in 1964 by a group of Montreal businessmen who wanted to provide a nearby skiing option for their families. For beginner skiers, I suggest trying out La Familiale, which is a gentle, easy run. As for après ski, Bar Le Tucker is a popular spot with a cozy atmosphere and live music.
