About the Area


The Phoenix Mountain Ski Resort in British Columbia is located in the Monashee Mountains. The resort features a variety of ski runs and terrain, with a vertical rise of 305 meters (1,000 feet) and 24 runs spread over 32 hectares (80 acres) of skiable terrain. The highest peak at Phoenix Mountain reaches an elevation of 1,536 meters (5,039 feet). The mountain is known for its diverse terrain, including tree runs, groomed trails, and challenging steeps, making it a popular destination for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels.

Phoenix Mountain Ski Resort in British Columbia boasts some of the best powder skiing in the Kootenays. The resort's crown jewel is the Black Forest, a double-black diamond run with steep pitches and gladed terrain. For beginners, the Sundance and Easy Street runs are perfect to learn on.
