Powder Day

Summary

Snow conditions today are firm and groomed, with some icy sections developing on shaded slopes due to overnight temps dipping just below freezing at 28.8°F.

While the snowpack remains a concerning 61% below average for this time of year, there’s a glimmer of hope ahead: the 5-day forecast calls for 4 inches of fresh snow, with light flurries expected to begin late tomorrow and taper off mid-week. Given the modest snow base and minimal recent snowfall, today may not offer deep powder turns, but if you're craving wide-open groomers without the crowds, it's still worth clicking in. Expect fast morning laps and softening runs as the sun warms things up.
