Clay Co Park camping area in North Carolina is a picturesque spot with excellent views of the surrounding mountains. The park offers a variety of activities such as hiking, fishing, and boating on its lake. The campground has 50 campsites with electric and water hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits. It is a first-come, first-serve campground, and reservations are not accepted. The best time to visit is from late spring to early fall when temperatures range from 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and can drop to 50 degrees Fahrenheit at night. The park also has amenities such as restrooms, showers, and a dump station.
