Low Gap Creek is a beautiful camping area located in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest in Georgia. The surrounding views are stunning with lush green forests and scenic mountain views. Nearby points of interest include the Appalachian Trail, Vogel State Park, and Helton Creek Falls. The campground offers amenities such as picnic tables, fire rings, and access to potable water. It is a first-come, first-serve campground with only 24 campsites available. The best time of year to visit is during the fall season (September to November) with average temperatures ranging from 50 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. However, the campground is open year-round for those who prefer a winter camping experience.
