There are no fees, reservations, or permits required unless fire restrictions are in place (check with the forest service). Amenities are minimal—no water, no hookups, and only one pit toilet. Fire rings and picnic tables are available at some sites. Accessible by high-clearance vehicles, it’s best suited for tent campers or small RVs without hookups. Surrounded by chaparral and oak woodlands, it offers a remote, peaceful vibe. Nearby trails include the Espinosa and Corte Madera trails. Best visited in spring or fall due to hot summers.
