Lower Hermosa Campground is a breathtaking camping area located in southwestern Colorado. Situated in the San Juan National Forest, the campground boasts stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Some of the nearby points of interest include the San Juan Skyway, Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and the Animas River. The campground amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, vault toilets, and potable water. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis and offers 22 campsites.
