Lost Lake camping area in Colorado offers amazing views of the surrounding mountains, including the stunning Sangre de Cristo range. Nearby points of interest include the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, Zapata Falls, and the town of Crestone. The campground offers basic amenities such as fire rings, picnic tables, and vault toilets. The campsite is available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and there are 16 campsites available. The best time to visit is from late May to early September when the average temperatures range from 50-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Lost Lake camping area is a great place for hiking, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Colorado Rockies.
