This is a backcountry site with no established campsites or dispersed camping—just one elevated wooden platform over water. Reservations and a backcountry permit are required; fees apply. The site has a composting toilet but no water, picnic tables, fire rings, or grills. No RV access or hookups. Surrounded by mangroves and water, it's ideal for paddlers seeking solitude and Everglades scenery. Wildlife is abundant. Best visited in the dry season (November–April) to avoid bugs and storms. Nearby paddling routes offer excellent exploration opportunities.
