Sites include picnic tables, fire rings with grills, and vault toilets; however, there is no potable water or hookups. RVs are allowed, but the access road can be rough—best for smaller rigs. Reservations aren’t required; sites are first-come, first-served with a modest nightly fee. Surrounded by pine forest and nestled beside the lake, the campground provides a peaceful, secluded vibe ideal for fishing, boating, and hiking. Nearby trails include the Deadwood Ridge Trail. The best time to visit is summer (June–September), when roads are open and weather is mild.
