No reservations are needed—sites are first-come, first-served, with no permits required. There's a small fee ($10/night). Amenities include pit toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and space for RVs (no hookups or water). Tucked in a scenic forest near the Big Lost River, it provides a peaceful, rustic experience with mountain views. Nearby trails, fishing, and ATV routes make it a great base for outdoor adventures. Summer to early fall is the best time to visit, when roads are passable and weather mild. Managed by the Salmon-Challis National Forest.
