Camping is free, but amenities are minimal: no toilets, water, picnic tables, or hookups. Campers must pack in/out and follow Leave No Trace principles. Fire rings may be present but not guaranteed; check fire restrictions. Accessible by high-clearance vehicles, RV access is limited. The area features high desert sagebrush scenery with rugged views and solitude. It's ideal for quiet getaways and nearby OHV trails. Best time to visit is late spring through fall when roads are dry and daytime temperatures are pleasant.
