Camping is primitive: no toilets, running water, or amenities, so visitors must pack in/out all necessities and follow Leave No Trace principles. Fire rings and picnic tables are not provided. RVs can access nearby roads, but the area itself is best suited for tent camping. Surrounded by lush forests and near Jackson Falls and the River to River Trail, it’s popular with hikers and climbers. Visit in spring or fall for mild weather and vibrant scenery in this peaceful, remote forested setting.
