No reservations or permits are required, and camping is free. There are no toilets, water sources, picnic tables, or fire rings, so campers must pack in/out and practice Leave No Trace. The area is forested and peaceful, near the Edge of the Wilderness Scenic Byway and several lakes, offering wildlife viewing, paddling, and hiking nearby. Best visited from late spring to early fall for milder weather and accessible roads. RVs not recommended due to undeveloped access. Rugged, remote, and serene.
