Reservations are recommended, especially in summer, and nightly fees apply. Nestled in a wooded setting near Lake Superior, the campground provides a peaceful, scenic base for exploring nearby Grand Portage National Monument, Mount Josephine, and High Falls in Grand Portage State Park. Campers enjoy a blend of quiet nature and casino entertainment. The best time to visit is June through September for warm weather and clear trails. No special permits are required to camp.
