No reservations or permits are required, and there are no fees. Amenities are minimal: no toilets, water, fire rings, or picnic tables. RVs can access the area, but there are no hookups. Nestled in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, the area is rugged and scenic, with mountain views, forested surroundings, and proximity to East Boulder River. Popular nearby trails include the East Boulder Trail and access to high alpine lakes. Best visited late spring through early fall. Ideal for solitude seekers and experienced campers.
