There’s a small nightly fee, but no reservations or permits are required. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and hand-pump drinking water; however, there are no RV hookups and limited space for larger vehicles. The campground provides a peaceful, scenic experience ideal for tent campers and small RVs. Popular nearby attractions include Emerald and Heather Lakes Trails. Best time to visit is June–September, when the roads are open and wildflowers bloom across the Gallatin Range.
