No reservations or permits required. Amenities include pit toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and hand-pumped potable water (seasonal); no hookups or dump stations, but small RVs/trailers can access. Set in a stunning high-alpine valley at the edge of the Beartooth Mountains, the campground is forested and sits beside East Rosebud Lake. It’s the trailhead for the 26-mile Beaten Path, offering epic hiking and fishing. Best visited June–September for dry trails and warm days.
