No reservations or permits are needed; a small nightly fee applies. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and drinking water (seasonal). There are no hookups, but RVs up to 30 feet are welcome. Set in a peaceful forested canyon along Big Timber Creek, the campground provides a quiet, scenic base for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The nearby Big Timber Creek Trail leads into the rugged Crazy Mountains. Best visited June–September for mild weather and trail access. This is a serene, rustic camping experience ideal for nature lovers.
