Tucked in a lush, mossy forest along Elk Creek, the campground provides a peaceful, shaded atmosphere with the soothing sound of the creek nearby. It's a popular base for hiking the Elk-Kings Mountain Loop and exploring the Wilson River Trail. Best visited late spring through early fall for mild weather and trail access. Dispersed camping is not allowed in the immediate area.
