Hood National Forest near Timothy Lake, offers 10 established, equestrian-friendly campsites (no dispersed camping) with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. Potable water is typically available in summer. Reservations are recommended via Recreation.gov, and there is a nightly fee. Though primarily for horse campers, others can stay if space allows.
