The campground has 23 campsites, each with a fire ring and picnic table. There are also vault toilets and potable water available on-site. The campground is first-come, first-served between May and September, but reservations are available during the off-season. Nearby points of interest include the North Umpqua Trail, Toketee Falls, and Diamond Lake. The best time to visit Lower Lake Campground is from June to September when the temperature averages around 80°F during the day and drops to around 50°F at night.
