East Park Campground, located in the scenic Ashley National Forest near Vernal, Utah, offers established campsites in a peaceful lakeside setting at 9,300 feet elevation.


Summary

Reservations are not required—sites are first-come, first-served, with a small nightly fee. Amenities include pit toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and non-potable water (bring your own). No hookups, but RVs are welcome. The area is surrounded by forests and meadows, ideal for fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing. Nearby attractions include the Red Cloud Loop and Uinta Mountains trails. Best visited June–September, when access is snow-free and temperatures are mild, East Park delivers a quiet, high-alpine camping experience.
