No reservations are needed; sites are first-come, first-served, and no permits are typically required. Fees may apply at developed sites. Amenities include pit toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and limited water access (seasonal—bring extra). RVs can access some areas, but there are no hookups. Nestled in a high alpine forest above Joes Valley Reservoir, the area is scenic and peaceful, ideal for fishing, climbing, hiking, and paddling. Nearby are the Left Fork of Huntington Creek and Skyline Drive. Best visited June–September for pleasant weather and full access.
