Reservations are not required; campsites are first-come, first-served, and a nominal fee applies. Amenities include vault toilets, potable water (seasonal), fire rings, picnic tables, and horse corrals—though no RV hookups are available. The campground sits in a serene, forested alpine setting with views of nearby Mount Adams. It’s a gateway to the Indian Heaven Wilderness and trails like the Pacific Crest Trail. Best visited July–September, the area offers a peaceful, rustic experience ideal for hikers, horseback riders, and nature lovers.
