No reservations or permits are required, and there’s a small fee (typically around $10/night). Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, pit toilets, and no potable water—bring your own. RVs can access the area, but there are no hookups. Nestled in a scenic canyon along the Encampment River, the campground offers a quiet, rustic vibe with trout fishing and access to the Encampment River Trail. Surrounded by forested hills and rocky cliffs, it’s best visited from late spring to early fall. Expect peaceful seclusion and beautiful river views.
