RVs are welcome, but there are no hookups. Reservations are recommended via Recreation.gov during peak season (May–September); fees apply. Nestled in a dramatic desert canyon with red cliffs and clear blue water, the area offers stunning views and a quiet, remote vibe. Activities include boating (with a nearby boat ramp), fishing, and hiking. Dispersed camping is also allowed in surrounding BLM land. Best visited in late spring through early fall for warm weather and water access.
