Friend Park Campground, located in the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest at the southern edge of the Laramie Range in Wyoming, offers 10 established, first-come, first-served campsites (no dispersed camping).

No reservations or permits are needed, and there’s a small nightly fee. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, pit toilets, and non-potable water (bring your own or treat on-site sources). RVs can access the area, though there are no hookups. The campground is set in a scenic, forested valley near North Laramie River, offering a peaceful, remote vibe. Nearby trails include the Friend Park Trailhead leading into the Platte River Wilderness. Best visited June–September for mild weather.
