About this campground

Tower Fall Campground

Tower Fall Campground is a picturesque camping area located in the northern section of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The campground is situated near the Tower Fall, a magnificent natural waterfall on the Yellowstone River.

The surrounding views of the campground are breathtaking, with lush green forests and rolling hills. The Tower Fall offers an incredible view that can be enjoyed from various vantage points, including the top of the waterfall and the observation deck on the other side of the river.

The Tower Fall Campground is conveniently located near some of the park's popular points of interest, including the Lamar Valley, the Mammoth Hot Springs, and the Roosevelt Lodge. Visitors can witness herds of bison and elk grazing in the Lamar Valley, or take a dip in the natural hot springs at Mammoth Hot Springs. The Roosevelt Lodge, a historic log cabin, offers horseback riding and guided tours.

The campground amenities include restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, and fire rings. However, there are no hookups or showers available. The campground is open from late May to early September and offers 32 campsites on a first-come, first-served basis.
