Mack Mesa Reservoir is located in western Colorado and offers excellent fishing opportunities for brown and rainbow trout, as well as smallmouth bass and channel catfish. Nearby activities include hiking, camping, and birdwatching. Fishing tips include using lures and bait that imitate small fish or insects that are found in the reservoir. The best time to visit is during the fall and spring months when temperatures average in the 60s and 70s. However, fishing is possible year-round as the reservoir is not subject to seasonal closures.
