Best fishing is from shore or by drift boat; ample public shore access is available from the Fireman’s Point FAS. Target riffles and seams near the rocky banks, especially in spring and fall when trout are most active. Use nymphs (zebra midge, pheasant tail), dry flies (Blue-Winged Olives, PMDs), and streamers during higher flows. No piers or ramps—wade or float access only. Fish early morning or late evening for best results. Winter fishing is slower, but midges and scuds still produce.
