* WHAT...Thursday morning low temperatures in the mid 20s to lower 30s. * WHERE...The San Luis Valley. * WHEN...Until 8 AM MDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Freezing temperatures could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...This could be a killing freeze which could bring an end to the growing season across the San Luis Valley. Friday night is expected to be a few degrees colder.

Today, Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 4pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. High near 49. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
