Doty Dam, also known as Van Buren Dam, is a private dam located in Dallas County, Iowa.

Built in 1961 by the USDA NRCS, this earth dam stands at a height of 30 feet and stretches 521 feet in length, with a storage capacity of 67 acre-feet. Situated on the TR-South Raccoon River, Doty Dam serves the purposes of fire protection, as well as providing a small fish pond for the local community.
Managed by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Doty Dam is state-regulated and inspected regularly to ensure its structural integrity. The dam has a significant hazard potential, but its condition has been assessed as satisfactory as of December 2014. In the event of an emergency, the dam does not currently have an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) in place, but measures are being taken to address this issue. Overall, Doty Dam presents a moderate risk level (3) and is an integral part of the local water resource infrastructure in the area.
