Shawnee Mission Park Dam, also known as Johnson County Dam, is a local government-owned structure located in Zarah, Kansas. Designed by BLACK AND VEATCH, this dam serves primarily for recreational purposes and is regulated by the Kansas Department of Agriculture. Completed in 1958, the dam stands at a height of 65 feet and has a length of 1380 feet, with a storage capacity of 3500 acre-feet.
