Lionsgate Dam, located in Kenneth, Johnson County, Kansas, is a privately owned structure primarily used for recreation. Built in 1965 by Warren, Kline, and Shafer, this earth dam stands at a height of 30.8 feet and has a maximum storage capacity of 343.2 acre-feet. The dam spans 500 feet in length and is situated on the Negro Creek-TR river/stream.

With a hazard potential rated as high and a fair condition assessment, Lionsgate Dam is under the regulatory jurisdiction of the Kansas Department of Agriculture. Regular inspections are conducted, with the last one occurring in April 2020. The dam's emergency action plan status, risk assessment, and inundation maps are currently under review and update. Despite its critical role in recreational activities, the dam's safety and risk management measures are continuously monitored to ensure the protection of downstream communities and the environment.
