Mud River FRS No 7, also known as Brown Lake, is a local government-owned flood risk reduction structure located in Logan, Kentucky.

Built in 1963 by the Soil Conservation Service, USDA, this earth dam stands at a height of 23 feet and stretches 500 feet in length. With a storage capacity of 126 acre-feet and a normal storage of 46 acre-feet, the dam serves the primary purpose of flood risk reduction along the Mud River.
Managed by the KY Division of Water, this dam is state-regulated and undergoes regular inspections to ensure its structural integrity. Despite its low hazard potential and satisfactory condition assessment, the risk assessment indicates a moderate risk level. The last inspection in March 2017 deemed the structure to be in good condition, with no significant modifications reported since its construction.
