Diamond Peak Ski Resort is located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Nevada. The mountain itself is part of the Carson Range, which is a subrange of the Sierra Nevada. Diamond Peak has a summit elevation of 8,540 feet and offers skiers and snowboarders a vertical drop of 1,840 feet.

The terrain at Diamond Peak includes a variety of runs for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, from beginner to expert. The resort has a total of 655 acres of skiable terrain, with the longest run being 2.5 miles. Diamond Peak also offers panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains.
