Sitzmark Ski Hill, located in Alaska, offers skiers and snowboarders a small and friendly ski area with stunning views of the Chugach Mountains. One of its best trails is the "Bowl," a steep and scenic run that offers a thrilling ride for intermediate and advanced skiers. Interestingly, Sitzmark Ski Hill was originally built by the U.S. Army in the 1950s as a recreational facility for soldiers stationed in Alaska. For beginner skiers, the "Bunny Hill" provides a gentle slope to learn on, and ski lessons are available. After a day on the slopes, locals recommend visiting the Sitzmark Bar and Grill for some delicious food and drinks.
